I’m glad to announce the organisation by the Master of the Law of the Digital Society and GIP-Law Research Group of the EIPIN Conference – The Interaction Between the New European Digital Acts and the Intellectual Property System, that will take place at the University of Alicante (Spain) on 4 November 2022. The Conference can also be followed online.
EIPIN is a European Network of IP Scholars that supersedes the European Doctorate Program EIPIN-IS. Our purpose is to promote the research on IP and innovation issues in Europe and to help young scholars to carry out their research projects. On Thursday 3rd November we will held our annual Doctoral Seminar with Ph. D. students coming from different universities, and on Friday we will host our conference open to the public.
Speakers in the conference include Josef Drexl, Martin Husovec, Giancarlo Frosio or Andreas Wiebe among many others. Our purpose is to analyze the interaction between these new Acts and the EU instruments in the field of IP, and to determine whether there are obstacles which may hinder the achievement of the EU’s overall common objective of promoting innovation in Europe.
You are all kindly invited to join us at the University of Alicante or to follow the conference on line. The program of the conference is available in the Master in Law of the Digital Society.
